Former Canada Prop Eddie Evans Launches Masx Tech Customizable Face Masks

Former Canada prop Eddie Evans has entered the protective face mask business. He’s well known for his company X-Treme Rugby Wear but he now has another venture Masx Tech and they’re selling customizable face masks. As their website puts it, “At Masx Tech, we strive to provide the highest quality face masks for everyday use combined with expressive and unique designs. Our two-layer technology provides protection against dust, bacteria and moisture for up to 30 washes.”

Eddie has 49 caps for Canada between 1986 and 1998, he played in three World Cups. His first cap was against USA in 1986 which Canada won 27-16, Eddie started at loosehead prop and tries were 4 points. Tries were scored by #8 Glen Ennis and outside centre John Lecky. Mark Wyatt kicked 13 points in conversions and penalties and both Wyatt and Gareth Rees had drop goals. He played in the ’87, ’91, ’95 World Cups. His last cap was against Argentina in ’98 in Buenos Aires, playing alongside Eddie in the front row in that match were Rod Snow, Richard Bice and the second row was John Tait and Mike James.
